The difference that care and clarity make
Family legal matters require more than technical knowledge. They require someone who genuinely listens and communicates with warmth. At Kularb, that is the standard — not the exception.
Back to HomeWhat working with Kularb offers
These are not promises made lightly — they reflect the way we have worked with every client since we opened our doors in Bangkok.
Deep Experience in Thai Family Law
Our advisers have practised Thai family law for over a decade each. That depth of knowledge means we can explain your position clearly, without overstating what any process might achieve.
Plain Language at Every Stage
We explain every term before we use it. You should never leave a meeting feeling more confused than when you arrived — we take that seriously and check in regularly.
No Pressure to Decide Quickly
We do not push clients toward decisions. Family matters benefit from considered thinking, and we create the space for that — even if it means returning for a second or third conversation before anything is settled.
Complete Confidentiality
Your details, your situation, and the conversations you have with us are protected rigorously. We operate strict internal data protocols and never discuss client matters externally.
Transparent, Fixed-Service Pricing
Each of our three services has a clear, stated price. There are no hourly meters running, and any additional costs (such as court fees) are explained before they arise — not billed as surprises afterwards.
Children's Wellbeing at the Centre
Where children are involved, their interests are never treated as a side consideration. We bring consistent focus to parenting outcomes, and our advisers are experienced in how Thai family law approaches child welfare.
Advisers who know this area of law well
Thai family law is a specialised field, and understanding how it applies to your particular situation requires experience that goes beyond general legal training. Our advisers work exclusively in family matters — this is not one department among many; it is the only thing we do.
That focus means we are current with legal developments, familiar with how different proceedings tend to unfold in practice, and well-placed to help you understand what is realistic and what is not.
A structured approach that keeps you informed
Before any service begins, we explain the process in full — what will happen, in what order, and approximately how long each stage takes. We do not rely on clients already knowing how things work; we take responsibility for making sure they do.
Regular check-ins are part of how we work, not an extra. If something changes or a new consideration arises, we contact you promptly and explain what it means in plain terms.
A service that feels like genuine support
Many people who come to us describe feeling relieved after their first meeting — not because the situation has changed, but because they finally understand it clearly and feel genuinely heard. That experience is what we aim for with every client, from the initial enquiry onwards.
We are available by phone and email during office hours. We respond to messages the same working day. We do not outsource client communication to automated systems.
Clear prices with nothing hidden
Our three services are priced clearly: a Family Guidance Meeting at ฿2,150, Agreement & Mediation Support at ฿5,700, and Full Family Matter Support at ฿11,700. These are fixed service fees, not opening hourly rates that accumulate unpredictably.
Where a matter involves costs beyond our service fee — such as court filing fees or document translation — we explain these in advance, in writing, before proceeding.
Realistic, considered results — not overstatements
We do not make claims about what a legal process will achieve. What we do offer is a clear picture of what is possible, what is typical, and what factors are likely to influence the outcome. That honesty is part of what our clients say they value most.
Over twelve years and more than 850 families served, we have developed a practical understanding of how family matters tend to unfold in Thailand — and how to support the families we work with through each stage with as much calm as the situation allows.
Kularb versus a typical legal practice
This comparison is not intended to disparage other practices — it reflects the specific choices Kularb has made about how to work with clients.

Features that reflect a deliberate choice
The “first meeting feels” panel
Every client who comes to us for a guidance meeting is given a brief, written description of what their first meeting will look like — the room, the format, who will be present, and how long it will take. We find this small act of preparation genuinely helps people feel more at ease.
English and Thai, with equal fluency
All our advisers work comfortably in both English and Thai. International residents in Bangkok have the same quality of support as Thai nationals — nothing is lost in translation, and nothing requires an extra interpreter.
Mediation-first approach
Where appropriate, we explore mediated solutions before formal proceedings. This is often less stressful, less expensive, and results in arrangements that both parties are more likely to maintain over time — particularly when children are involved.
A genuinely open first enquiry
When you contact us for the first time, we do not push you toward booking any particular service. We ask about your situation, listen carefully, and suggest what we think would be most helpful — even if that means telling you that a formal service is not yet necessary.
